Many young people are engaged in making Instagram short form videos known as reels. They gain popularity by posting reels, but when their posts receive fewer likes and comments, it can lead to a sense of losing control and can trigger feelings of inadequacy, causing depression and instability, negatively affecting mental health, leading to anxiety, stress, and other disorders.
