Open Access Policy
Chettinad Health City Medical Journal (CHCMJ) is an open-access journal for academics, allowing any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and to use them for any other lawful purpose. All the articles published in this journal are free to access immediately from the date of publication. The journal does not charge any fees for downloading articles.
Every open-access article goes through rigorous editorial, production, and peer review procedures. You must sign an exclusive license agreement, in which the publisher is granted first publishing rights to your article while you, the author, maintain the copyright.
Since 2012, authors have been free to use their full publishing rights and copyright without any limitations. In 2020, the Journal revised its copyright guidelines. Our work is published under the CC BY-NC License, which permits third parties to remix, modify, and expand upon it in non-commercial ways. These parties are not required to license their derivative works under the same conditions, but their new creations must also credit the original publication and be non-commercial.
Author's rights: Authors can provide a DOI link to the version of the record on the website so that third parties can access their published papers. The authors own trademarks, patents, and other forms of intellectual property (including research data). For the published piece, they are given credit.
