Copyright Policy
Chettinad Health City Medical Journal (CHCMJ) does not require authors to transfer the copyright of their published work to the journal. However, the authors grant the first publication right to the publisher. Once the article is published, authors can reuse their papers in any form, without requiring permission from the publisher of the journal.
Authors can provide a DOI link to the version of the record on the website so that third parties can access their published papers. The authors own trademarks, patents, and other forms of intellectual property (including research data). For the published piece, they are given credit.
- 1. To incorporate the article into a thesis or dissertation is the author's right.
- 2. Convert the article to a book.
- 3. Use sections or excerpts again in other works for non-profit educational purposes, such as posting to your website.
